A Great Time For Honesty
(A homage to Sigismund, my bodhisattva friend,
who, after all, set out for the road)

I left footnotes in my memoirs,
timeless spots in history,
births, triumphs, failures & deaths,
a recollection swag for
the quiet days...
when reason will lose interest
in the stupid game
of You and I.

I'm changing style before I leave,
beetling off for permanent vacation,
reflective happiness
and graceful harmonies,
roaming the world
till my sheer passion
will turn into compassion.

I will lay down on my bed of pillows,
between green branches
and rings of somke,
to watch my puppets rising,
casting their shadows
over my celluloid theater,
performing one last time
the epic story of liberation.
