Innocence Lost

As a boy, I spent hours
watching the tower
but never helped
it's construction,
so I was left alone,
& wonder those wild forrests
of solitude,
changed so much
I became a man,
an ambassador of silence,
inspired by the unknown.
I wrote trembling lines of joy
and later burned them
im a stove forever,
to warm up the room
I was livin’
my miserable days.
As a man, I stepped outside,
visited some strange places,
and left behind
the old hipster joint
& the oldtimer-bearers
who trapperd their new disciples
in the era of carelessness
for a while.
I had my graceful moments,
a cameo role
in a monumental piece,
understood it's meaning,
in my way.
A thousand visions dissapeared,
when some groovy voice
called for awakening.
My room transformed
into a velvet museum,
stars fell down, dissapeared
and I awkoe
between the new sets:
city lights, an unknown land
and a garish sun.
