To My Brothers In Pain

They all gathered to form The Meaningful Assembly,
City skeletons jogging along, static.

Insidious brothers entered the room,
gave utterance to their sneering opinions -
forty-niners in the new age of gold-rush.

The Whacker asked about severance,
but no one volunteered.

Who's worshiping the rising sun?
Who needs qualities? Veniality?

Well, in the end, they all recede,
in a sudden moment.

My halcyon days came to an end, finally
& believe me (all you, brothers in pain)
I'm not the villain you're looking for.

New fractal venues are to be born
to devise subjects for a new thesis.

Why say a farewell, when there's no reaction?
I’m hunted by the minds I have deceived.
Fatigue took me for a short sleep...
