trip to granada

we spent the end-summer of 2002 in south spain and took this trip
to granada to visit the famous alhambra palace. it took a few hours
to get there by bus from toremollinos, but it was air-conditioned,
so i wasn't so bad.

what was really memorable about this trip, beside the alhambra palace,
was the gipsys and their cave-houses in the side of the hill.
it's unbelievable, but they still live in hill-side caves and
have their own communities. they also dance the best flamenco in the whole
country.
