Teide - the highest peak of Spain (3,715 m) This short trip was a real cool experience. It was short because of the restriction of spending more then one hour above ~3500 m, unless we have had a medical authorisation, which can be required in the capital, Santa Cruz. Without it you cannot even climb to the top of the mountain/volcano. Anyway, we were happy with the view from 3500 m and we had a chance to spend an hour roaming between rocks and petrified lava stones.
