The Island of La Gomera

History tells us that C.Columbus starts his first discovery trip towards the New World
from this little island, La Gomera, one of the seven islands of the Canary group.
He has also a chapel here, where he was blesed before the long journey.

I liked this place, bacause of it's simplicity, no real tourist-stream, no fancy shops,
just rustic inhabitants, quiet villages and nooks.
